DOMINION is the story of the last day of the poet Dylan Thomas, as the man downs eighteen double scotches in one afternoon, labeling each after an event from his life.  These remembrances begin to merge, creating a surreal landscape that is a triumph of poetry and elegant irony, as well as a death spiral in the  realm of the phantasmagorical.   The central performances of Rhys Ifans as Dylan Thomas is one for the ages, theatrical, full of humor and hugely tragic. John Malkovich turn is slyly funny and Tony Hale, Zozia Mamet, Romola Garai and Rodrigo Santoro all turn in surprising performance in support.
