(If you need a suggestion of what to bring, please contact Alan)

7 pm
We will present a special Canal Conversation and musical experience featuring a new and unusual instrument known as the HANDPAN. Adrian Ensor and Terence Jay will tell us the story of these fascinating instruments followed by a Hanpan performance with members of the Handpan community.

~ The Handpan is a handcrafted melodic percussion instrument or "sound sculpture" made of shaped and tuned steel. These beautiful instruments produce an array of percussive sounds and ethereal bell like melodies. Each Handpan is a unique work of art.~

After the handpan performance, we will finish the evening with an open acoustic jam for anyone who would like to join in.

Hosted by Alan Pick, Casey Fields, and Philip Garaway
